Meet Alden-Hebron Elementary’s fantastic Teachers and Special Services Staff! More new faces & bios coming !!!
This is Karen Fallon. She received an Associate’s Degree at McHenry Community College and attended Rockford College in Rockford. Her hobbies include: boating, bike riding, kayaking and gardening (not vegetables) plants and flowers.
Patti Peisert graduated from Illinois State University. She lives in McHenry with her husband and two sons. She is a huge football fan and loves watching her son play under the Friday night lights. She also enjoys scrapbooking, camping, reading, and playing softball. This is Lisa Janowski . Mrs.Janowski started her journey here at Alden Hebron Elementary in 2012. She graduated from Bradley University in the Spring of 2012 with an elementary education degree and an endorsement in mathematics. When the school day is over, she spends her time with her dog, Trixie, her fiancé, family and friends. You can find her snuggled up watching a movie, cooking in her kitchen, or exploring the outdoors!

This is Liz Elbrecht. She earned her teaching degree in 2006 from National Louis University in Elgin, IL. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree with an endorsement in Social Studies and Language Arts. She is looking forward to starting her Masters degree in Reading in the Fall of 2015. In her free time, she loves to workout at the YMCA, spending time with her family and friends, and she loves to go to all kinds of restaurants, movies and sporting events. This is Eleanor Sutherland and she is a Special Education teacher here at Alden Hebron Elementary. She graduated in December of 2012 from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Special Education. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, biking and reading.
This is Kristen Norton. She received her Bachelor’s of Art Degree in Elementary Education at University of Wisconsin-Madison & her master’s degree at National-Louis University in Curriculum & Instruction with ESL Approval. She enjoys triathlon training, biking, running, swimming, reading, & playing cards.
This is Judy Marquardt-Smith and she is currently the Title I and Reading Specialist. She earned her undergraduate degree from Carthage College-Wisconsin and she has a graduate degree in Reading from Concordia, Illinois. When not working, she enjoys reading, camping, gardening, and baking.
