Alden-Hebron District 19 is proud to announce the following school summative designations:
Alden-Hebron Elementary School: EXEMPLARY
Alden-Hebron Middle School: COMMENDABLE
Alden-Hebron High School: COMMENDABLE
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) publishes a report each year called the Illinois Report Card, which is the state’s official source for information about public schools across Illinois. The report highlights academic performance based on standardized test data, school environment, and information about educators and students.
The 2019 Illinois Report Cards continue reporting on the state’s support and accountability system based on the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). As part of this accountability system, each school’s report card includes a summative designation—a descriptor of how well the school is meeting the needs of all students based on 10 measures of performance.
In fulfilling our mission of Striving for Excellence, our staff works hard to meet the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of our students, we are extremely proud of their continuous efforts and strong commitment to improving student outcomes.
