High School Boys Basketball Schedule & Lady Giants Basketball Schedule
High School Winter Sports Update
More positive news!! The HS Boys & HS Girls Basketball Teams both officially started practice on Jan. 27th after a very long and highly anticipated wait. The IHSA released the new season dates last week for all sports with basketball starting immediately and ending on March 13th with no state series. That means we will be playing a 4- week schedule along with all the other NAC schools starting on Feb. 8th and finishing on March 6th. The boys will have 12 games scheduled and the girls will have 10 at this time. Please check out the new schedules posted on the web page.
I want to make sure everyone understands that before we can play a game against another school our region will have to move to Phase 4. Let us all keep our fingers crossed and follow all the proper protocol so we can get there quick and get these kids playing.
I will be sending home NAC Fan Attendance Guidelines with all the athletes on Feb. 5th so you will know which schools will allow fans and which games you may be able to attend along with following all COVID-19 protocol. Because of all the different gym sizes it is up to each school in the NAC to make their own decision about hosting fans within the IDPH guidelines.
Please watch the school web page for all updates, as we know in these times things can change quickly and daily.
Let’s Go Giants!!! Coach Lalor
