GET INVOLVED---GREAT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
On Saturday, April 15th from 9 a.m. to Noon, the Friends of Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge will host our next ecological stewardship event. We will be working on the east side at the Tamarack West site on Tryon Grove Road.
There is a gravel pull-off on the south side of Tryon Grove Road. Look for the Hackmatack signs, pull in, and park in the grass near the front of the site. If you are under the age of 18, you will need to bring the waiver form signed by a parent or guardian (form is located in HS office/sent to student emails).
Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty, and bring your own drinking water. We'll provide work gloves, safety glasses, and a snack.

REMINDER: On April 12th, AHHS juniors have mandatory SAT testing and freshmen/sophomores have PSAT testing. Students, make sure that you get plenty of rest the night before, bring no 2 pencils and acceptable calculators. Please reference the student guide and email from Mrs. VanderPal for further information.
AHHS seniors will have this day to participate in Postsecondary Readiness preparation (college visits, college/job applications, scholarships, job shadowing, etc.). Senior students will not have to report to AHHS/LCTC on this day.
