Just a reminder the HS Volleyball game originally scheduled vs. Parkview Christian has been cancelled for tonight. Middle School 6th grade games vs. Emmons are still on for tonight starting at 4:00.
The HS Football game Friday night at AFC has been cancelled due to AFC having to many injuries and being unable to play. Next weeks game at South Beloit is on as scheduled.

Students in the Wars & Weaponry course are working to create models of early American Civil War Ironclad ships. The process has just begun, stay tuned for the final outcomes!

AHHS: AH Seniors took part in a FSA ID workshop 9/27. The FSA ID will be used to complete the FAFSA.
Don't forget: AHHS will host a "FAFSA COMPLETION WORKSHOP" *Oct. 13 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
*Visit StudentAid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch to create an FSA ID. You'll need your Social Security number, full name, and date of birth. You'll also need to create a memorable username and password, and complete challenge questions and answers so you can retrieve your account information if you forget it.

The Birth to Three program had a great time at the Hebron Public Library on Wednesday, September 22nd! Thank you to all that participated!
AHMS: 8th grade students are creating bridges for science class. In the end, we will test the strength of each bridge by doing a weight test. Here are the beginning stages of the bridges....stay tuned for the finished projects next week.

AHMS: 8th Grade ELA learns to “Synergize”
-Eighth graders have been reading and discussing Sean Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens during the first month of school.
-As a part of their book study, Mrs. Kolnik’s ELA classes participated in a variety of team-building exercises meant to strengthen their ability to “SYNERGIZE”. They learned that, “Together we can do much more than we could separately.”-Helen Keller
